学校

 

Hello sweeties~!

Tänään meillä oli ensimmäinen koulupäivä! Meidän koulumme, East-West Japanese language school, sijaitsee Higashi-Nakanossa ja sinne on noin tunnin juna matka Kameidolta. Koulu matka alkaa aina aamuruuhkalla mikä on melkoista tuskaa :D Hyvä että happi kulkee, kun ollaan niin litussa ihmisten välissä. Onneksi Akihabarassa jäi melkein suurin osa ihmisistä pois.  

Today we had our first day in school! Our school, East-West Japanese language school is in Higashi-Nakano and the trip from our hotel to school was around 1 hour by train. We had to take the train that leaves at 8 which happened to be the worst rush our also. It was painful :D We were luck to be able to breath while we were squished by all the people in train. Thankfully most of the people left the train in Akihabara.

Ensimmäisenä koulupäivänämme tutustuimme ensimmäiseen opettajaamme ja kävimme läpi kuinka tehdään oikea oppinen itsensä esittely. Tämän jälkeen jokainen meistä teki itsensä esittelyn vuorotellen. Koulupäivämme kestävät 09:05-12:30. Koulupäivän päätyttyä meillä alkoi ruokatunti. Haimme ruokaa läheisestä konbinista ja palasimme koululle syömään. Ruokailun jälkeen lähdimme koulun järjestämälle retkelle. 

Maanantaina menimme ensimmäiseksi japanilaiseen hätäkeskukseen, jossa ensiksi katsoimme pienen videon mitä voisi tapahtua jos Japaniin iskisi yli 7 magnitudin maanjäristys. Tämän jälkeen pääsimme kokeilemaan miltä tuntuu 7 magnitudin maanjäristys. Tämä simulaattori kokemus oli kyllä hieno, mutta en silti haluaisi kokea ihka aitoa ja isoa maanjäristystä. Simulaattorin jälkeen pääsimme vielä katsomaan videota miten elektroninen tulipalo syttyy ja sitten pääsimme kokeilemaan kuinka poistua huoneesta joka on täynnä savua. Ne jotka eivät osallistuneet tähän, katsoivat tv'n kautta kun me muut kyykkäsimme savun seassa :D 

 

During our first day in school, we got to know our first teacher and studied how to do a proper introduction about yourself. After this all of us did our own ^^ Our school days were from 09:05 to 12:30. After that our lunch break started. We went to get our lunch from a nearby konbini and went back to school to eat. After our luch we left for our first school trip. 

On monday we went to japanese emergency center.  First we watched a short movie about earthquakes and after that we got to try how 7 magnitude earthquake would feel like. That simulator experience was interesting. Still, I wouldn't want to experience an actual eartquake. After the simulator we got to see how electrical fire starts and after that we got to try to escape from a room which was filled with smoke. Those who didn't participate got to see us from a tiny tv, as we squated among the smoke xD

 

Koulun ja retken jälkeen lähdimme okonomiyaki ravintolaan Joutsenon opiston yhteistyökumppani yliopiston opiskelijoiden kanssa. Olimme kavereideni kanssa melko ahdistuneita asian suhteen, koska olimme koko ajan siinä luulossa, että joudumme itse kokoamaan okonomiyakimme. Mutta meidän onneksemme he olivat varanneet meille sellaiset paikat, jossa ne tehtiin meille valmiiksi. Emme kuitenkaan silti ottaneet kuin yhden puoliksi ystäväni kanssa. Otimme porsaanliha okonomiyakin, joka oli todella hyvää ja en malta odottaa seuraavaa kertaa kun pääsen syömään kyseistä herkkua!

After school and our school trip, we went to okonomiyaki restaurant with some of the Reitaku university students. We were pretty anxious about the trip with my friends because we thought that we had to build our own okonomiyaki. Thankfully the students had reserved us a seats at front, where they made all of our okonomiyakis. Me and my friend only took one pork meat okonomiyaki and we ate both half. It was super delicious and I can't wait to try this delicasy again!

 

Tänään oli myös minun syntymäpäiväni! Täytin sopivasti reissumme alussa 20 vuotta, jotta saan juoda alkoholia Japanissa ollessani! Saa nähdä tuleeko tuota juotua pahemmin :D Pidimme kaverin kanssa pikkuiset juhlat illalla hotellihuoneessa ja sovimme, että menemme tiistaina sitten ulos syömään synttäreiden kunniaksi! Mutustelimme kaverin kanssa herkkuja, joimme calpista ja itse olin illan osittain nenä kiinni japanin kielisessä tokyo ghoulissa :D

Today was also my birthday! Best time to turn 20! In Japan the legal age of drinking is 20 years so this means I can drink if I want to! Let's see if I even drink that much or at all XD Me and my friend had a tiny party at our hotel room. We decided to move our restaurant visit to tomorrow because we were pretty tired after the day. We just ate snacks, drank calpis and some of the night I had my nose glued to tokyo ghoul which was written in japanese. Gotta keep my kanji understanding in check xD
